Volunteers

We welcome individuals who are interested in physical therapy and want to share their talents as volunteers. Working alongside our staff, volunteers and observers gain an appreciation of the professional and ethical demands of physical therapy. Volunteers do not participate in patient care but are expected to adhere to the same professional standards as our employees:

• punctuality, neatness and pride in personal appearance
• an altruistic approach to patient care
• appropriate and professional interaction with everyone they encounter
• cooperative and constructive interaction with peers.

Proof of student status, recommendation letter from a professor, an orientation session and a signed agreement to adhere to ACE Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Institute’s policy and other requirements are mandatory.
